CEC is hosting another discussion roundtable designed to foster dialogue and enhance communication and collaboration among our member groups, for the betterment of our community as a whole. Please come and join us to hear about what is going on regarding this important environmental issue affecting the Houston/Galveston region.
Discussion leaders will include:
Sarah Mason, CEC Board Member and City of Houston Solid Waste Department
Tyson Sowell, Texas Campaign for the Environment
Patsy Gillham, Plastic Pollution Texas and the Texas Bottle Bill
Erin Livingston, Houston-Galveston Area Council
Sample topics will include info about the Bottle Bill, plastic bag and bottle ordinances, City of Houston efforts and plans for the near future, statewide recycling rates, and more!
